Saxophonist Sofia Koulouvaris is one of Chicago’s most exciting young jazz voices. A remarkably skilled and expressive player for her age, she studied at DePaul University under master saxophonist Scott Burns and quickly established herself on the local scene. Her growing career already includes work with Soul Message, the Birch Creek Faculty Big Band, and DC & The Love, as well as leading her own quartet with George Fludas, Dennis Carroll, and Joey Skoch.
