Transat’ is a journal of poetry and poetics. We publish texts in English and French. Poems, translations, and essays travel from one continent to the other: a transatlantic conversation, on a bridge of linguistic and cultural exchanges. The journal comes out twice a year, in late spring and early winter. Each year, two guest editors help guide our exchanges and take us on new adventures.
Our first volume came out in late May and launched from France, with two bilingual readings in Paris. Now, it's time to join us in Chicago at the Whistler on Wednesday, July 24th! We will be celebrating the American launch of the first volume of Transat', with readings by poets and editors of the journal.
