Touchdown is a dubbier, clubbier transmission from Dean Raymond — an offshoot of his brash and unruly Spare Parts party. Where Spare Parts leans into mutant disco and punk-funk grit, Touchdown slides into the deeper, dubbier corners of the dancefloor.

DJs Dean Raymond and Jonathan Valdez lead the way. Dean cut his teeth DJing with scavenged mp3s before taking the helm at WHPK 88.5 FM and launching Spare Parts. Jonathan, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, brings a tactile approach to sound — blurring boundaries between live instrumentation, dub experimentation, and club motion.

The result: late-night sounds for people who like their grooves a little sideways.
