Every Tuesday & Wednesday at the Relax Attack Jazz Series, we present Chicago’s top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation.
On May 1st, we’re doing something a little different; we’re featuring DJ sets by broadcaster and event producer King Hippo, aka Alejandro Ayala of International Anthem Recording Company, and very special guest, drummer Charles Rumback.
They’ll be spinning jazz and jazz-adjacent records from their vast collection of vinyl. Expect to hear both new and old music, as well as some test presses for upcoming releases on IARC.
