Every Wednesday at the Relax Attack Jazz Series, we present Chicago’s top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation.
This week we’re doing something a little different; we’re featuring a DJ set by longtime friend of the Whistler, King Hippo, aka Alejandro Ayala of International Anthem Recording Company. He’ll be spinning jazz and jazz-adjacent records from his vast collection of vinyl. Expect to hear both new and old tunes, as well as unreleased tracks from the IARC catalog.
