Guitarist Brian Citro reunites with drummer Quin Kirchner for the Relax Attack Jazz Series, bringing a new quartet with saxophonist Mai Sugimoto and bassist Matt Ulery.
Earlier, Brian and Quin made music as Salamander with saxophonist and electronic musician Charles Gorczynski and bassist Mark Van Ziegler. Coming off his recent release on ears&eyes Records—Acoustic Pastime: Solo Guitar—and his monthly residency at The Whistler, Brian’s written new music to feature Mai’s lyricism and Matt and Quinn’s telepathic rhythm section chemistry.
