ABEEKU is the latest facet of the vast artistic expression of composer and performer David Boykin. It’s a combination of electro soul, golden-era hip-hop, and spiritual jazz forming a sensuous blend of Afro-electronic bliss. The lineup features Adam Zanolini on bass, Paige Brown on keyboards, and David Boykin on vocals, drum machines, digital samplers, synthesizer, and saxophone.

David Boykin is one of the most original and dynamic artists in the Chicago music scene. He’s a composer, bandleader, and multi-reed instrumentalist performing on the tenor and soprano saxophones, the soprano and bass clarinets, and the drum set.

He is the leader of the David Boykin Expanse, founder of Sonic Healing Ministries, and collaborator. He has released 10 albums as a leader, performed at major international jazz festivals, and founded Sonic Healing Ministries, which is an organization dedicated to the spiritual evolution of humanity through music.
