Anneysa Gaille grew up along the banks of Buffalo Bayou but now lives and teaches in Brooklyn. Her chapbook, No Such Thing As, was published by the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at the University of Chicago. Once Upon a Cicada Moon is her first book.
els is a writer and image maker; dropped, spun and wandering around hills of desire, channeling trajectories of eroticism and spirituality. last night they dreamed about an 80 dollar bill and something called a “lull snake”. they are the co-creator of the surrealist publication “Veilance”, the curator of Dimo's gallery, and recently earned their BFA with an Emphasis in Writing from SAIC.
Eden is a writer and cofounder of Veilance Press. They write poems to be read, and poems to be spoken, they believe these are two entirely different kinds of poems. Eden’s work attempts to expose spirit as a string of fibers rolling in a wheel, which as it splits and twists, picks up lightning residue and promise rings, fig seeds and the lost art of cursive.
