Every 1st Tuesday is CHIRP Night at the Whistler — an evening of CHIRP-curated local artists, Whistler cocktails, and the good feeling of supporting independent radio.

Jeff Kmieciak is lead guitarist of The Handcuffs and bassist of Nude Model. His past bands and projects include Tenki, Ceiling Stars, Ghost Horses, The Warmbloods, Drifts, The Demilos, and The Meme.

CHIRP is a volunteer-driven, community radio station that focuses on music, arts, and culture. The station can be heard on the north side of Chicago at 107.1FM and worldwide at chirpradio.org. The station broadcasts live every day from 6am-midnight from their studios in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood.
