Every Wednesday, we present Chicago’s top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation. On August 29th, we’re proud to partner with the Chicago Jazz Festival on a memorable night of live music.

Dynamic rhythm section and Whistler mainstays Matt Ulery (bass) and Quin Kirchner (drums) are joined by Julius Ticker (piano) performing a set of original material, American songbook tunes and other lesser-known jazz standards; followed by an open jam session welcoming any and all jazz musicians to join in.

• 10PM-close: The Whistler Jam, led by Matt Ulery & Quin Kirchner

The Chicago Jazz Festival returns this year with performances celebrating all forms of jazz in Millennium Park, at the Chicago Cultural Center and citywide, including shows at The Whistler and Sleeping Village.
