Chicago Design Museum

March 2016

Artist: Chicago Design Museum

This installation includes a number of different elements so here’s what the Chicago Design Museum had to say about it:

  • We installed artwork in the Whistler’s gallery window that is made from salvaged mylar, a highly reflective, malleable material that was previously seen in the New Horizon mirrors. (Thanks to Taylor Staugas and Eric Wolinsky!)

  • The Busy Beaver Button Co. repurposed a sheet of mylar into custom buttons for our Button-o-Matic. Only available at the Whistler. 50¢ a pop!

  • We are distributing a free, limited-run, Risograph-printed poster from the Great Ideas of Humanity ad series, designed by Tanner Woodford with a quote by Edith Wharton. First come, first served.
