Every Tuesday at the Relax Attack Jazz Series we present Chicago’s top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation. Swiss guitarist Samuel Mösching brings stories from oversees and puts them into a new context here in Chicago. His band Die Stadtmusikanten is named after a German fairytale created by the Grimm brothers, in which four animals move far from home to become musicians in the city of Bremen.

This diverse group is playing trough a variety of gengres, from Jazz to Brazilian music, from Schumann to old Punk songs from the 90ties, from Femi Kuti to Alpine Folk music.
Samuel Mösching had the honour to perform at the Chicago Jazz Festival, Hyde Park Jazz Festival, Late Night with Stephen Colbert, the Blue Note Club and the Lincoln Center in NYC. He has been touring in the US and internationally as a leader and as a sideman with Zeshan B, Maggie Brown, Ben Davis, John Stowell and many more.
