Half Gringa is the mind of Izzy Olive, manifested as a glass of milk with maybe a little bit of blood in it. She writes songs about multicultural identity and domestic disputes set to rowdy rural rock music. Joining her are guitarist Sam Cantor, bassist Andres Fonseca, trumpet player Ivan Pyzow, and drummer Sean Saville. Having recently released a self-titled EP, she’s excited to continue fleshing out what began as warm, sleepy basement music to something that encourages her delusions of grandeur. Her favorite dreams are the ones where she’s on the lam and yelling in Spanish.
